Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction  

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of services provided by VATahntara, a virtual assistant service specialising in supporting tattoo artists. By engaging my services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using my services.


2. Services  

VATahntara provides virtual assistance, including administrative support, customer communication, and business organisation. The scope of services will be agreed upon prior to the commencement of work.


3. Payment Terms  

- Payment is required on a monthly basis as per the agreed package. Invoices will be sent via Squarespace, email or other agreed upon methods.

- Payments must be made within 3 business days of the invoice date. If payment is not received within this time frame, services will be paused until payment is made.

- If payment is overdue by 7 business days, the service will be considered terminated. Re-engagement will require a new agreement and updated pricing.

- Any additional services requested outside the agreed-upon scope will incur extra charges, billed at an hourly rate.


4. Cancellation and Termination  

- Either party may terminate this agreement with written notice. If you wish to terminate, services already paid for will continue to be carried out unless otherwise agreed.

- In the case of non-performance by VATahntara, a refund may be provided at my discretion.

5. Confidentiality  

- VATahntara and any subcontractors will keep all information shared by the client confidential. This includes business details, financial information, and client data. 

- Any subcontractors used will sign confidentiality agreements to ensure the protection of your information.


6. Subcontracting 

- VATahntara may use subcontractors to assist with certain tasks. All subcontractors will comply with confidentiality obligations, and you will be informed if a subcontractor is involved in delivering the service.


7. Work Hours and Availability  

- Work hours are flexible, but services will be provided during the agreed-upon times.

- VATahntara’s work hours are between Monday and Friday.

- VATahntara will check on your business at least twice a day during your local working hours.

- You will receive at least 4 weeks' notice for any planned time away. In the case of unexpected absences, I will notify you as soon as possible.


8. Liability and Indemnity  

- VATahntara will not be responsible for any losses, damages, or delays that arise directly or indirectly from the services provided.

- I am not responsible for the tattoo artist's work. My liability is limited to the services I provide.

9. Data Protection  

- I will comply with data protection regulations, including GDPR, where applicable. Your data will be stored securely, and I will not share it with third parties without your consent.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions  

- VATahntara reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. You will be notified of any changes.


11. Governing Law  

- These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the local courts.
